SEMrush
Org-level connection
SEMrush is connected once at the org level by an admin. The credential is shared across all groups that have been granted access — individual team members don't need to connect their own accounts.
Getting your API key
In SEMrush, go to Profile (top-right) → My Profile → API
Copy your API key (the same key works for all three API surfaces)
Paste it below
IMPORTANT — unit billing: SEMrush charges per data row returned, not per request. The legacy Analytics API defaults to 10,000 rows if display_limit is omitted. On Belay caps legacy calls at 1,000 rows and defaults to 100 when unspecified to protect your unit balance. Pass display_limit explicitly to control cost.
Note: the unit balance-check endpoint is on a different host and is not proxied in this version.
Ready to connect?
Sign in to On Belay and open the Integrations page to add SEMrush.
Permissions (scopes)
These are the data scopes On Belay can be granted for SEMrush. Your org admin controls which scopes are enabled per group.
